“The only journey is the journey within.” – Rainer Maria Rilke

My name is Blake McSunas, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. I have always felt that one can do anything they set their minds to, and sometimes people need a little help. The first step can be difficult and so is a triumph of its own!

I have attended Pepperdine University for the past two years learning to help people with therapy. I adhere to an integrative approach that is founded in a social constructivist perspective and behaviorally based. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives, and I want to work within their understanding of themselves to help facilitate positive change through actionable steps. The process of change takes effort, and a sensitive and collaborative team can make this process attainable.
