I specialize in the treatment of trauma, dissociation and trauma-related disorders. It is my belief that a number of life difficulties, including substance use, psychotic episodes and difficulty maintaining relationships can be traced to trauma and treated with trauma therapy. I employ a number of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. My most important belief in working with clients is that the client’s experience must be respected and that the client has a right to participate in all treatment decision as an equal partner. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and am working toward my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Walden University.
