I offer psychotherapy to couples, individuals, and families. Many of my clients are overwhelmed by life's stresses, and some long for deeper self-knowledge. Regardless of your reason for seeking therapy, I strongly believe that healing and personal growth are within reach.

Individual Therapy
Too often, because of past traumas, hardships, or limiting beliefs, we learn to shut off parts of ourselves. In therapy, I work with my clients to access these obstructions and grow into a more integrated person.

Couples Counseling
There is a strange irony in the way we find ourselves in relationships with partners who are perfectly able to trigger our deepest issues and wounds. I work with couples to explore their needs and patterns in relationships, and help uncover blocks to true intimacy.

Sex Therapy
While our sexualities are a deeply personal and natural part of our beings, so many of us are affected by shame, a lack of accurate information, and society's norms. I create an atmosphere of safety in order to discuss these sensitive issues, and I work with an attitude of complete non-judgment.

I received a Bachelor's degree in Human Sexuality from Brown University, and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. I bring into the room genuine compassion, a variety of therapeutic orientations, a sense of humor, and a commitment to facilitating lasting change for my clients.

I am a Registered MFT Intern, #69329, supervised by Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861. I work in our San Francisco office. Please give me a call at 888-637-7404 x33, or visit my website at vmtherapy.com.
