About Anne
A space to self-advocate, without judgment.
My name is Anne (pronounced Annie) Martin. I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who believes that therapy is an ideal space for individuals and couples to learn to self-advocate and reach their individual and interpersonal goals without judgement.
Prior to my clinical training, I spent many years as a middle school teacher and learned the value of collaborative and caring relationships and their ability to positively impact people going through challenging transitions.
I have experience with neurodivergent children, specifically those with ADHD and autism diagnoses, and can help parents who are trying to find their footing to raise these amazing kids. While my work is always client-driven, I utilize CBT and existentialism to help clients find relief and explore life's biggest questions.

My Approach
Client-driven, with practical tools and room for the big questions.
I am trained in person-centered therapy and that is the basis of how I plan to work. I find that CBT is often helpful with anxiety and depression in terms of practical skills.
I am very interested in exploring existentialism with clients, particularly as it relates to significant life transitions — coupling, parenthood, mid-life, and end of career or retirement.
