About Bethany

You don't have to figure it out alone.

A warm welcome to anyone seeking support. Whatever you may be going through, you don't have to figure it out alone.

My name is Bethany, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently earning my Master's in Counseling at Saint Mary's College. I believe having a space to slow down, feel heard, and better understand yourself is essential to growth and change. My goal is to create a warm, caring environment where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings.

In our sessions, I'll provide collaborative and person-centered therapy catered to your individual needs. I am especially interested in working with children, teenagers, and adults who may be navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions around identity and self-discovery. My hope is that therapy can be a place where you feel supported in strengthening relationships with yourself and others and learn coping skills as you work towards meaningful growth.

I am accepting new clients for online and/or in-person therapy at Oak Creek Relational Counseling Center in Pleasant Hill. Feel free to reach out — I'd love to connect with you to help you create the life you want to live.

My Approach

Meeting you where you are.

My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, with an emphasis on creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I aim to meet clients where they are and tailor therapy to their individual needs and goals.

As I continue developing as a clinician, I am also interested in incorporating elements of CBT, mindfulness, and somatic/body awareness to help clients better understand connections between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical experiences.
