We're glad to introduce Tina Javidi, M.S., APCC, who has joined Oak Creek Relational Counseling Center offering telehealth therapy for adults throughout California. Tina works with people who are sharp, self-aware, and often exhausted from carrying that awareness alone — clients dealing with anxiety, ADHD, burnout, rejection sensitivity, and the kind of self-doubt that creeps in even when part of you already knows better. Getting to Know Tina Tina is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #21730), practicing under the supervision of Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861. She holds an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University (2025) and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2018). Her approach is relational, direct, and collaborative. Rather than staying at arm's length, Tina pays close attention to the small things — a pause, a joke that deflects, the moment someone quietly changes what they were about to say — and will name what she notices while leaving plenty of room for a client to push back or see it differently. She draws from person-centered and psychodynamic work, mindfulness and body awareness, CBT-informed tools, and parts work when it fits, all through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. She provides therapy in English and understands conversational Farsi, with familiarity in Persian cultural and family dynamics. Who Tina Works With
In Tina's Words "You understand what is happening. It is still hard to change in the moment. I often work with thoughtful adults who know what they need but lose hold of that clarity when they feel overwhelmed or disconnected. My job is to help you find your way back to it — together, and without judgment."
