We're glad to introduce Jasmin Evans, M.S., AMFT, APCC, who has joined Oak Creek Relational Counseling Center offering telehealth and in-person therapy for adults throughout California. Jasmin works with people who are ready to look beneath the surface — clients carrying anxiety, burnout, rejection sensitivity, and relationship patterns that keep repeating no matter how well they already understand them. Getting to Know Jasmin Jasmin is dually registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #162112) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #21978), practicing under the supervision of Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861. She holds an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University (2025) and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona (2021). Her approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Rather than moving quickly to fix a problem, Jasmin slows things down enough to understand what a feeling is protecting — treating emotion as information rather than something to be managed away, and building toward a gentler relationship with the part of a client that has been working hardest. She draws primarily from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), weaving in practical CBT and DBT tools for the moments between sessions, along with attachment-based and relational work and mindfulness and grounding techniques for clients whose distress shows up in the body first. She provides therapy in English. Who Jasmin Works With * Anxiety & overthinking * Burnout & masking * Relationship & attachment patterns * Rejection sensitivity & self-doubt * Boundaries & people-pleasing * Life transitions * Identity & cultural concerns * Trauma-related patterns In Jasmin's Words "If you often feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in the same frustrating relationship patterns, or just exhausted from carrying around self-doubt and burnout, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. We'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you — working together to quiet that harsh inner critic, handle life's big transitions, and help you feel more grounded and secure in who you are."
