Jennifer Reposar MFT Trainee Every fall, a new group of graduate students arrives at Oak Creek Relational Counseling Center to begin their clinical training. This September, we're welcoming five: Lauren Hlavac, Anne Martin, Megan Murphy, Bethany Premo, and Jennifer Reposar. Each is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee completing supervised clinical work under Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861. Each is also a graduate student, most at Saint Mary's College of California, bringing their own background, interests, and approach into the room. What follows is a short introduction to each of them, and what they tend to focus on with clients. Why a Fall CohortGraduate training in marriage and family therapy runs on an academic calendar, so most new trainees start their supervised hours in the fall alongside the school year. That means Oak Creek's trainee roster grows each September, and it's also when many of our trainees have the most immediate availability for new clients. All five are currently accepting clients, with sessions offered in person in Pleasant Hill and by telehealth anywhere in California.
