 We're glad to introduce Bethany Premo, a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who has joined Oak Creek Relational Counseling Center offering telehealth and in-person therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, families, and groups throughout California.
Bethany works with people who want a place to slow down — clients navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions about identity and who they're becoming. Getting to Know Bethany Bethany is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee practicing under the supervision of Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Southern Oregon University (2023) and is completing an M.A. in Counseling, with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling, at Saint Mary's College of California, expected in 2027. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. Bethany starts from the belief that having a space to slow down, feel heard, and better understand yourself is essential to growth — and she builds sessions around what a particular client actually needs rather than a fixed protocol. As she continues developing as a clinician, she's incorporating elements of CBT, mindfulness, and somatic and body awareness work, helping clients trace the connections between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical experiences. Her practice is neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming. She provides therapy in English. Who Bethany Works With
