Sara Zavala, Trainee (she/her)
“Nothing in life is to be feared, only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” —Marie Curie
My name is Sara Zavala (she/her). I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently attending National University. I am passionate about connecting with people about their personal goals. From there, we can develop your emotional toolkit to approach issues and promote change in your mental well-being. Life will throw many things at you and when we have not processed our past traumas or taken the time to develop how to emotionally regulate ourselves, we can be reactive to people and things we deeply care about. Together, in the safety of therapeutic work, we can deconstruct old patterns and rebuild new ones. If you are unsure of where to start, finding yourself here on Oak Creek Relational Counseling Centers' page is powerful and I applaud you. Beginning a new journey can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether it’s grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues or beyond, I am here for you and will help you uncover your strengths when they feel buried. I will utilize Person Centered and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy to guide your journey. Whether your journey starts with me or anyone else, you deserve wellness and are worth every bit of effort it takes to begin. If you are interested in having a consultation to see if we are a good match, reach out and I’ll connect with you soon. Sara Zavala is supervised by Stephen Polin, LMFT #7861 |
