About Tina

You understand what is happening. It is still hard to change in the moment.

You may replay conversations, apologize quickly, overexplain, or go quiet when something matters. A small change in someone's tone can leave you questioning yourself, even when part of you knows there may be another explanation.

I often work with thoughtful, self-aware adults who struggle with masking, rejection sensitivity, or people-pleasing. They may know what they need, but have trouble holding onto that clarity when they feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or disconnected.

My style is relational, direct, and collaborative. I pay attention to pauses, humor, and the moments when you pull back or change what you were about to say. I may ask a direct question or share what I notice, while leaving room for you to disagree or see it differently.

We may look at where a response came from, how it shows up now, and what you want to do differently when it happens again. I provide therapy in English and understand conversational Farsi. I am also familiar with Persian cultural and family dynamics.
