We welcome applications to become an Oak Creek Associate or Trainee.

You must be registered and in good standing with the BBS. New MA/MS  graduates may start without a registration number under the BBS 90-day rule and have completed a LiveScan background check. We offer training and supervision in a wide variety of approaches to help associates and trainees develop their unique skills.

Our Trainees are provided with a comprehensive educational training program, weekly meetings to help support growth and learning, and outstanding group supervision sessions (individual supervision by request). We offer a unique program which helps to prepare trainees for private practice once they are licensed. We support the passions of each individual trainee and help them to achieve their professional goals.

Becoming a Trainee

NOTE: We have reached our trainee quota for the rest of 2026 and will not be accepting any more applications for Fall 2026. We are honored to have had so much interest but we must balance client availability and supervision needs.

Becoming an Associate

If you would like to be considered for an associate/intern position, please send the following to [email protected]. To be considered you must have a current registration number and be in good standing with the BBS.

Interviews will be conducted online and determine if we are a good fit for each other.
Once you join OCRCC, trainees and associates must:
  • Meet required BBS supervision hours every week based on clients seen that week. 
  • Attend monthly therapist meetings on the first Wednesday of every month.
  • Participate and/or organize group therapy sessions​​
Available Supervision Sessions:
  • Tuesday 9am – 11am
  • Thursday 6pm-8pm
  • Friday 8:30am - 10:30am
  • Saturday 8:30am -10:30am
  • Friday 4pm - 6pm ​
Apart from completing client paperwork (progress and process notes) and your actual client sessions, trainees do take on a small administrative task in order to help in the running of the clinic (water plants, clean coffee maker, etc.). At times, there is also community outreach affairs or at other community gatherings — attendance at these events is not mandatory but do offer you opportunities to advertise.
