Becoming an Oak Creek Trainee
Thank you for contacting us here at Oak Creek Relational Counseling Center (OCRCC). Here is our process for hiring trainee volunteers into our program.
You will need one group supervision to start and one more for every tenth client: There are three different supervision times available per week.
Required meetings are on Wednesday 5pm - 8pm
There are office jobs and other requirements which take up time as well as your paperwork and face to face clients.
Private practice setting (Not a private practice we are a non-profit agency) is very hard, I only recommend it to those of you who are wanting to start your own private practice.
Second, if you are still interested at this point, email the following to pfilomeo@oakcreekcounseling.org
· Unofficial transcripts
· Letter of intent, including the answer to the question; What can I offer my community?
· Resume
· Give us the date which you would want to start practicum.
Third, you will be set up with an appointment to ask questions regarding employment at OCRCC.
Good luck and Take Care.

Our therapists place a high value on the dignity and worth of all people. We embrace the richness brought by identities and expressions at the intersections of ethnicity, race, nationality, sexual/affectional orientation, gender, size, age, physical and mental abilities, religion/spirituality, socioeconomic status, and immigration status. We also recognize the immense impact that systemic racism and oppression have on mental health and well-being. In this spirit, we strive to foster cultural humility through ongoing training and professional development.
